The Boys & Girls Clubs of Kennebec Valley (BGCKV) is pleased to announce its fifth award from the State of Maine Department of Education for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program. Funded under Title IV, Part B of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, this program offers competitive grant funding to support before-school, after-school, and summer learning programs focused on enhancing the academic performance of students from Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12.

In partnership with Maine School Administrative District #11 (MSAD 11) and Regional School Unit 12 (RSU 12), BGCKV will provide comprehensive educational programming for the next four years for Gardiner Regional Middle School students (grades 6 to 8) at BGCKV in Gardiner, Chelsea Elementary School students (grades 2 to 8) at Chelsea Elementary School, and Whitefield Elementary School students (grades 2 to 8) at Whitefield Elementary School.
